Masterminds are Hot!Whether you join WBC or not...become part of a Mastermind Group or create your
own. The concept of the "mastermind alliance" was formally introduced by Napoleon Hill in his timeless classic,
"Think And Grow Rich," though mastermind groups have been around since the beginning of time.
"The coordination of knowledge
and effort of two or more people, who work toward a definite purpose, in the spirit of harmony. No two minds ever come together
without thereby creating a third, invisible intangible force, which may be likened to a third mind [the master mind].” In a mastermind group, the agenda belongs to the group and each person's participation and commitment is key. Your mastermind partners give you feedback, help you brainstorm new possibilities, and set up accountability structures
that keep you focused and on track. You create a community of supportive colleagues who brainstorm together to move the members
to new heights. You'll gain tremendous insights which improve your business and personal life. Your mastermind group
is like having a objective board of directors, a success team, and a peer advisory group, all rolled into one.
—Key Benefits

—Optimistic
peer support in maintaining a positive mental attitude —A sense of shared endeavor - there are others out there! —Ideal size is no bigger

MastermindsWe have started our first WBC Mastermind Group and without a doubt it
is a "WOW!" The first 10 members of WBC gathered to discuss what was on their minds back in
February, and another meeting in March. Each of shared what we were currently doing in our lives and the challenges
we currently faced. Each challenge was taken on by the group and ideas were brainstormed! Each member went away
feeling the "WOW" factor and implemented ideas that resonated the most with them personally. The following
month we gather and share our progress. This is low key and powerful...because that is what true networking is and when
it happens it is truly magic. It is not how many cards you hand out or how many people you talk to an event, it is about
creating trusting relationships. Join WBC and you become a part of a Mastermind Group! Guess what...it is included...no
extra cost!

Enjoy the Little Things In Life! A man sat at a metro station in Washington DC and started to play the violin; it was a cold January
morning. He played six Bach pieces for about 45 minutes. During that time, since it was rush hour, it was calculated that
thousands of people went through the station, most of them on their way to work.
Three minutes went by and a middle aged man noticed there was musician playing.
He slowed his pace and stopped for a few seconds and then hurried up to meet his schedule.
A minute later, the
violinist received his first dollar tip: a woman threw the money in the till and without stopping continued to walk.
A few minutes later, someone leaned against the wall to listen to him, but the man looked at his watch and started to walk
again. Clearly he was late for work.
The one who paid the most attention was a 3 year old boy. His mother tagged
him along, hurried but the kid stopped to look at the violinist. Finally the mother pushed hard and the child continued to
walk turning his head all the time. This action was repeated by several other children. All the parents, without exception,
forced them to move on.
In the 45 minutes the musician played, only 6 people stopped and stayed for a while. About
20 gave him money but continued to walk their normal pace. He collected $32. When he finished playing and silence took over,
no one noticed it. No one applauded, nor was there any recognition.
No one knew this but the violinist was Joshua
Bell, one of the best musicians in the world. He played one of the most intricate pieces ever written with a violin worth
3.5 million dollars.
Two days before his playing in the subway, Joshua Bell sold out at a theater in Boston and
the seats average $100.
Joshua Bell playing incognito in the metro station was organized by the Washington Post
as part of an social experiment about perception, taste and priorities of people. The outlines were: in a commonplace environment
at an inappropriate hour: Do we perceive beauty? Do we stop to appreciate it? Do we recognize the talent in an unexpected
context?
One of the possible conclusions from this experience could be:
If we do not have a moment
to stop and listen to one of the best musicians in the world playing the best music ever written, how many other things are
we missing?

Athena AwardWhat a great event! What a great group of women. Congrats to Susan Brascome for winning the prestigious "Athena
Award." The most impressive thing about the event was the keynote speaker, Amilya Antonetti. Her message
was inspirational, especially here thoughts around women's self esteem. She has new book out, "Broken Cookies"
and she is coming back to Cincinnati for an event surrounding her book. Stay tune.
